Although Mssy Room is a relatively new project, the two members - Andrea Ekeli and Caja Magnussen - have extensive experience in the music industry.
The duo handle most things themselves: Songwriting, arrangements, programming, and recording demos. Lately, they have connected with other musicians and producers in the Bergen music scene, hand they are currently busy with sessions and recording future releases. Last autumn, they caused quite a stir at Rockefeller during their debut concert, which took place at an event organized by All Things Live.

Mssy Room describes themselves in the following way:
‘Mssy Room is meant to be a celebration of all of life's emotions and challenges. We make high-quality pop, drawing inspiration from artists like ABBA, the Beatles, Sabrina Carpenter, and Tame Impala [...] We have grand ambitions and a strong work ethic, and we work hard to achieve the goals we set for ourselves. The music industry, and the world as it is today, needs strong female artists. We hope we can emphasize to listeners what can be achieved together. Especially what women can achieve when we mobilize and unite. That we don't need to be perfect or "pretty enough". That we, just like anyone else, are allowed to be messy, loud, and happy.’
